YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK ADVISORY COUNCIL

Young professionals are the future of the real estate business. But in a field where the average age is 52, younger real estate practitioners often strive for a way to connect with each other and to tap into valuable resources that will help them succeed in their business.

A vibrant, organized Young Professionals Network (YPN) will enable these agents and brokers to: 1) network with peers within their own marketplace and around the country; 2) build a strong referral network; 3) learn about new and free resources available through the National Association of REALTORS®; 4) keep abreast of industry happenings; 5) participate in lively and timely blogs; 6) have access to a national YPN website; 7) attend educational offerings focused on new and innovative products and trends; 8) explore local, state, and national leadership opportunities; 9) and so much more.

The Grand Rapids Association of REALTORS® (GRAR) will benefit as an organization from the formation of a YPN by: 1) cultivating a new generation of leaders; 2) insuring that industry interests are well represented among all age groups and experience levels; and 3) tapping into new ideas and fresh perspectives to better meet the demands of an ever changing marketplace.

To facilitate this new initiative, GRAR has appointed a Young Professionals Network Advisory Council.
